A local Indian man spreads grains of rice across a rice paddy just after sunrise to get his work done before the day's fierce sun gets too hot.

During my backpacking adventure across India, I was fortunate enough to stay on a rice field on the island side of Hampi. While walking to the communal squatty potty just after sunrise, I came across this local Indian man spreading grains across a rice paddy to get a jump on the day’s fierce sun.
